Tour to America

Recently I read this post on one forum about Indians going to America and settling their and helping America grow. Lot of Indians think that if these people stay in India, instead of going to America, it will help India grow. Though there is a point in what they say, I personally do not agree completely to this thought. It's not only Indians that go to America but nationals from all over the world go to America. America is basically a land of migrants and not of natives; some migrated earlier and some later. No doubt all of these migrants have created and prospered America; but at the same time they have given so much to the world (and hence to their own nations)
Let's take an example of India. Today India is called as house of outsourcing. This wouldn't have been possible without the people who went to work in America (and other countries). They worked their, gained the confidence of American companies, transferred the knowledge to India and made outsourcing possible. ( But at the same time, I am not underestimating the hard work of people who work in India)
Finally, I would say, it's very much natural for intellectuals to go in search for better opportunities and better perks. In today's globalization era, one cannot restrict them to a country. Also, India has been doing marvellous job in recent past years. So one shouldn't worry much about brain drain. Where there's a drain, there's some gain. What do you say?
